Julian Wright helped the Hornets' cause with 16 points. The victory capped a four-game season's series sweep for New Orleans over Minnesota.

The Timberwolves were led by Ryan Gomes with 18 points while Ramon Sessions added 17 in Minnesota's 21st loss in 22 games -- its 11th straight road defeat.

The T'Wolves are hoping to avoid setting a franchise record for most losses in a season, 67, set in 1991-92. To do so they will have to win one of their final two games, either in San Antonio or at home against Detroit.
