NHL: Anaheim 3, Edmonton 2

EDMONTON, Alberta, March 27 (UPI) -- Corey Perry scored two power-play goals in the third period Friday and Anaheim held on to edge Edmonton 3-2.

Perry's two goals, the second of which came with 5:55 remaining, gave the Ducks a 3-1 lead and they survived despite a score from Edmonton's Marc Pouliot with 20 seconds to play.

Curtis McElhinney won his fifth game of the season by stopping 34-of-36 shots.

Edmonton had a three-game winning streak snapped. Jeff Deslauriers took the loss while stopping 37 shots.

Perry knocked in his own rebound with 7:30 remaining in the third to put the Ducks in front for good.

Anaheim has won all three meetings with the Oilers this season.
