DALLAS, March 20 (UPI) -- Trevor Daley's unassisted third-period goal was the game-winner Saturday, lifting the Dallas Stars to a 5-4 victory over Ottawa.

Daley's tally early in the final stanza gave the Stars a 5-3 edge. On the play, Daley gathered in a off-target Ottawa pass in the neutral zone, came in down the right side and beat Senators goalie Pascal Leclaire with a wrist shot.

Brad Richards lit the lamp twice and Mike Ribeiro and Jamie Benn each got a score for the Stars, while Kari Lehtonen notched his second win since being obtained by Dallas, making 25 saves in the win.

The Senators lost despite a hat trick and an assist from Jason Spezza, while Mike Fisher scored a goal and added an assist while Daniel Alfredsson chipped in with two helpers.

Leclaire was pulled after Daley's score, allowing five makers on 19 shots. Brian Elliott finished the game with six saves.
