NBA: Cleveland 97, San Antonio 95

CLEVELAND, March 8 (UPI) -- Mo Williams netted 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and distributed eight assists Monday, lifting the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 97-95 win over San Antonio.

Williams took over as the Cavs rested LeBron James for a second straight game and Antawn Jamison left the contest about halfway through the third quarter with an injury and did not return.

Jamison ended with 17 points and Delonte West added 16 points and made a big steal in the final minute. Cleveland got 13 points from Jawad Williams and became the first NBA team this season to win 50 games (50-14).

Manu Ginobili poured in 38 points for the Spurs, including seven 3-pointers, but his apparent game-tying trey with 14.2 seconds left was changed to a 2-pointer upon review.

George Hill chipped in with 23 points for San Antonio, which played its first game since guard Tony Parker went down with a broken hand.
