NBA: Memphis 104, New Jersey 94

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Rudy Gay scored 29 points and O.J. Mayo had 24 Sunday to power the Memphis Grizzlies to a 104-94 win over New Jersey.

Mayo dished seven assists, Zach Randolph netted 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Marc Gasol chipped in with 16 points and eight boards for the Grizzlies, who responded to a late 8-2 Nets run with seven straight points of their own to seal the victory.

The run was capped by Gasol's driving layup with less than 7 minutes left to extend Memphis' advantage to 92-82.

The Nets fell to 5-51 with their third loss on a four-game homestand. Brook Lopez ended with 26 points and nine rebounds while Devin Harris contributed 17 points and 13 assists for New Jersey.
