NBA: Washington 106, New York 96

WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Mike Miller scored 25 points and Antwan Jamison scored 21 to help the Washington Wizards knock off the Knicks 109-96 Saturday.

Jamison also contributed a career-high 23 rebounds for the Wizards, who have won back-to-back games.

New York was led by David Lee, who notched 24 points and nine rebounds. Nate Robinson scored 16 and Wilson Chandler 13.

Washington took control of a close contest at Verizon Center with a 19-5 run early in the third quarter. A long jumper by Randy Foye made it 71-57 with less than 5 minutes to play in the period.

The Wizards maintained a lead of at least six points through the fourth quarter and came away with their second consecutive win after a four-game losing streak.
