NBA: Miami 115, Houston 106

HOUSTON, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade made 15-of-24 shots and scored 37 points Friday in leading the Miami Heat to a 115-106 victory over Houston.

The Heat built an 18-point lead in the third quarter and improved its record to 3-2 on a six-game road trip.

Rafer Alston contributed 17 points for Miami and Jermaine O'Neal had 16 points to go with 13 rebounds. The Heat shot 53 percent from the field.

Houston, which had won its previous eight home games, was led by 17 each from Chase Budinger and Luis Scola.

The Rockets slipped 4 1/2 games behind first-place Dallas in the Southwest Division and remained three games behind second-place San Antonio.
