PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- David Lee made a layup with 15 seconds remaining Wednesday to give the New York Knicks a 93-92 victory over Philadelphia.

The 76ers were denied in their bid for what would have been their first three-game winning streak of the season.

New York defeated the 76ers for the first time in seven tries.

Lee led the Knicks in scoring with 26 and Al Harrington had 17. Neither side had more than a six-point lead through the entire contest.

Allen Iverson had 17 to pace the 76ers. Samuel Dalembert pulled down 22 rebounds.
