DENVER, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony, back after missing five games with a knee injury, scored 24 points for Denver Monday and the Nuggets beat Minnesota 105-94.
Anthony played just over 34 minutes, hitting 3-of-5 shots from 3-point range and 9-of-17 overall.

Chauncey Billups recorded 18 points and 10 assists, Arron Afflalo scored 15 points and Nene added 13 for the Nuggets.
The Timberwolves shot just 37 percent from the field.
Corey Brewer totaled 25 points, Al Jefferson 22 and Kevin Love 20 for Minnesota.
