NBA: San Antonio 112, Detroit 92

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Roger Mason finished off an 11-point run to open the fourth period Wednesday, leading San Antonio to a 112-92 decision over Detroit.

The Pistons lost their 11th game in a row.

Tony Parker paced the Spurs with 23 points in what was their sixth win in seven games. Richard Jefferson added 17 and Manu Ginobili had 16. San Antonio has captured 12 of its last 15.

The Spurs had only a two-point lead to open the final period, but made 15-of-20 shots from the field during those 12 minutes and outscored the Pistons 35-17.

The losing streak is Detroit's longest since the 1993-94 season, when the Pistons dropped 13 straight.

Detroit was led by 29 points from Richard Hamilton.
