NHL: Minnesota 5, Nashville 4 (OT)

ST. PAUL, Minn., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Andrew Ebbett scored 1:26 into overtime Wednesday, giving Minnesota a 5-4 victory over Nashville.

Nashville goaltender Pekka Rinne made a great diving save, but the rebound went to Greg Zanon and he fed the puck across the slot to Guillaume Latendresse.

Latendresse fired a one-timer that Rinne stopped, but that rebound went right to Ebbett and he was able to easily tap the shot home for the winning goal.

Minnesota has won three in a row and four of its last five. Mikko Koivu and Latendresse each had a goal and an assist and Niklas Backstrom got the win by stopping 31 shots.

Jason Arnott scored twice for Nashville, losers of three out of four.
