NHL: Dallas 2, Carolina 0

DALLAS, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Marty Turco turned in his second shutout of the season Monday, blocking 22 shots for the Dallas Stars in a 2-0 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Jamie Benn knocked in a rebound shot for Dallas in the first period and Brad Richards scored on a wrist shot in the third, both on power plays.

Manny Legace made 27 saves for the Hurricanes.

Dallas has won three of its last four games.
