ATLANTA, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Rich Peverley and Slava Kozlov scored shootout goals Sunday and the Atlanta Thrashers edged the St. Louis Blues 3-2.
Peverley fired in a wrist shot, Kozlov then scored and an attempt by St. Louis to extend the shootout was foiled by Atlanta goalie Johan Hedberg.
Tobias Enstrom and Ron Hainsey scored for Atlanta in the third period, erasing a two-goal deficit and sending the game into overtime.
Andy McDonald tallied on a backhand shot and David Perron scored for St. Louis, which has lost five games in a row.
Hedberg blocked 30 shots and St. Louis' Ty Conklin stopped 38.
