UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- No. 12 Ohio State won its third straight game Saturday, riding Terrelle Pryor's two passing TDs and a rushing score to a 24-7 win over Penn State.
The win put Ohio State at 5-1 in the Big Ten. It tied the Buckeyes with Iowa atop the conference standings, raised their overall record to 8-2 and set up a battle with the Hawkeyes next week in Columbus for what could be a Big Ten championship.
The Nittany Lions fell to 8-2 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
Pryor passed for 125 yards with no interceptions while picking up 50 yards on the ground. His 62-yard pass to DeVier Posey along the left sideline went for a score to make it 17-7 with 1:47 left in the third quarter.
Ohio State's ground attack proved too much for Penn State.
Daryll Clark led the Nittany Lions, completing 12-of-18 for 125 yards with one interception.
