Overall, he completed 29-of-34 passes for 380 yards and his 345 passing yards in the first half established a franchise record.

Other AFC honors went to Houston linebacker Brian Cushing (defense) and Denver wide receiver/kick returner Eddie Royal (special teams).

Cushing compiled nine tackles (six solo), two forced fumbles, and one interception in the Texans' 28-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Royal scored on a 93-yard kickoff return and a 71-yard punt return in the Broncos' 34-23 win over San Diego.

He is the 11th player in NFL history to score on both returns in the same contest.
