MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 5, Colorado 3

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Casey Blake's two-run single, part of a four-run first-inning outburst Sunday, led the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 5-3 win over the Colorado Rockies.

Doug Mientkiewicz had three hits and one RBI. Chin-lung Hu had two hits and one RBI, A.J. Ellis hit an RBI single and Juan Pierre had two hits for the Dodgers, whose 95-67 record was the best in the National League. They face St. Louis in the NL Division Series.

Winner Vicente Padilla (4-0) fanned 10 batters in five innings.

Reliever Ramon Troncoso recorded his sixth save.

Brad Hawpe had two hits and one RBI and Dexter Fowler added two hits for the Rockies, who will play Philadelphia in the Division Series.

The losing pitcher was starter Jason Marquis (15-13).
