DENVER, July 25 (UPI) -- Jorge De La Rosa went a strong 7 1/3 innings Saturday and Troy Tulowitzki hit a three-run homer in the Colorado Rockies' 8-2 win over San Francisco.
De La Rosa (8-7) allowed two runs on seven hits with no walks and seven strikeouts to record his sixth straight victory and improve to 8-1 in his last nine decisions.
Tulowitzki, who also stroked a two-run double, finished with a career-best five RBI and Chris Iannetta had a double and two RBI for the Rockies, who won for the second time in their last three games.
Jonathan Sanchez (3-9) went five-plus innings, allowing five runs on five hits and four walks to take the loss for San Francisco.
Pablo Sandoval had two hits and drove in a run for the Giants, who lost for the first time in their last three games.
Tulowitzki leads the Rockies with 18 homers.
