Stricker, Kaymer move up in rankings

PHILADELPHIA, July 13 (UPI) -- Steve Stricker and Martin Kaymer climbed Monday in the men's world golf rankings after both won tournaments Sunday.

Stricker won the PGA Tour John Deere Classic and moved up two places to No. 6. Kaymer posted his second straight European Tour win at the Scottish Open and advanced eight spots to No. 11.

Tiger Woods remained No. 1 and was followed again by Phil Mickelson, Paul Casey, Kenny Perry and Sergio Garcia, as the top five stayed the same.

Stricker's move to sixth bumped Geoff Ogilvy and Henrik Stenson to seventh and eighth while Jim Furyk and Vijay Singh rounded out the top 10 again.
