CLEVELAND, June 15 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder hit his first career grand slam and the Milwaukee Brewers scored six runs in the eighth inning Monday to beat Cleveland 14-12.
Fielder had a career-high six RBI and Ryan Braun had five RBI with three hits, including a two-run homer for the Brewers, who won for just the second time in their last eight games.
Milwaukee starter Dave Bush lasted just 3 1/3 innings and gave up eighth runs on six hits.
Todd Coffey (2-1) got the win after working 1 1/3 innings and Trevor Hoffman earned his 16th save of the season.
Victor Martinez, Travis Hafner, Shin-Soo Choo and Mark DeRosa each homered for Cleveland. Martinez had three hits and four RBI and Hafner had a three-run blast in a four-run sixth that gave the Tribe a 12-7 lead.
Carl Pavano allowed six runs on nine hits in five innings. Cleveland's losing pitcher Rafael Perez (1-2) gave up two runs on three hits and a walk.
