NEW YORK, May 24 (UPI) -- Carlos Ruiz hit an RBI double in the 11th inning Sunday, helping Philadelphia polish off the New York Yankees 4-3.

Clay Condrey (4-0) hurled two scoreless innings -- after Brad Lidge blew a save opportunity in the ninth -- to get the inter-league win for the Phillies. Starter Cole Hamels limited the Bronx Bombers to two runs on eight hits in six innings as Philadelphia won eight of 10 on its road trip.

Ruiz and Shane Victorino both had three hits and an RBI for the Phillies.

The loss was hung on reliever Brett Tomko (0-1). New York starter CC Sabathia gave up three runs on nine hits over eight innings but left with a no-decision.

Melky Cabrera went 3-for-5 with a game-tying RBI in the ninth for the Yankees. Mark Teixeira had a solo homer for New York, which finished its home stand with an 8-2 record.
