MLB: Chicago White Sox 7, Minnesota 4

CHICAGO, May 21 (UPI) -- Jermaine Dye hit a grand slam homer Wednesday and the Chicago White Sox scored all of their runs in the fourth inning en route to a 7-4 win over Minnesota.

Chicago won its second straight after losing five in a row and did so with a big inning that included a two-run home run by Paul Konerko.

John Danks (3-3) recorded the win by allowing two earned runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings. Bobby Jenks picked up his ninth save.

Minnesota has lost a season-high six straight. Francisco Liriano (2-5) gave up all seven runs on seven hits in four innings.

The Twins owned a 2-0 lead going into the White Sox fourth, but Jim Thome opened the inning with a single and scored in front of Konerko's sixth home run of the year.

With one out, Alexei Ramirez doubled and Josh Fields singled him home. Fields then went to third on a single by Corky Miller and Jayson Nix drew a walk to load the bases.

That brought up Dye, who hit an 0-1 pitch over the wall in left.
