MLB: Arizona at Florida ppd rain

MIAMI, May 18 (UPI) -- Monday's game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Fliorida Marlins was postponed due to heavy rain.

The game was halted with one out in the top of the fourth inning with the Marlins holding a 1-0 lead. The game be restarted and be part of a doubleheader on Wednesday.

Florida took the lead in the first inning when Chris Coghlan tripled with one out and scored on Jorge Cantu's two-out single. Arizona put runners at first and second in the fourth with walks by Miguel Montero and Chad Tracy before the rain intensified and the game was called off.
