KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 17 (UPI) -- John Buck, Jose Guillen and Billy Butler all drove in two runs Sunday to rally the Kansas City Royals to a 7-4 victory against the Baltimore Orioles.
Baltimore grabbed a 3-0 third-inning lead but Buck's RBI groundout cut it to 3-1 in the bottom of the inning.
Guillen's two-run, sixth-inning double gave Kansas City a 4-3 lead, while Butler and Buck had RBI in the three-run eighth.
Coco Crisp had one RBI, and Butler and David DeJesus had two hits apiece for the Royals, who split the four-game series following a five-game losing streak.
The winner was Juan Cruz (3-0) despite his second blown save.
Three Baltimore players had one RBI.
A run scored on Luke Hochevar's third-inning wild pitch, but four players had just one hit for the Orioles, who have split their last 10 outings.
The losing pitcher was reliever Jim Johnson (2-2).
Baltimore went 1-for-8 with men in scoring position, while the Royals committed four errors.
