MLB: Philadelphia 10, Washington 6 (12)

WASHINGTON, May 15 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez touched off a four-run 12th inning with a two-run single Friday, pushing Philadelphia to a 10-6 decision over Washington.

The Nationals let a three-run lead get away, then forced extra innings when Willie Harris produced a two-run double in the ninth.

Things unraveled for Washington in the 12th, however, with Kip Wells on the mound for his second inning of work.

Wells (0-1) walked the bases loaded to start the inning and Ibanez then drove home Chase Utley and Ryan Howard with a single to center. A throwing error by catcher Wil Nieves allowed another run to score and Pedro Feliz added an RBI double.

J.A. Happ (2-0) worked the final two innings to get the win. Ryan Howard gave Philadelphia a 6-4 lead with a three-run homer in the seventh.
