MLB: Philadelphia 7, Washington 1

PHILADELPHIA, April 28 (UPI) -- Chase Utley hit two home runs and Philadelphia got two more from Pedro Felize and Raul Ibanez Tuesday, rolling to a 7-1 victory over Washington.

Utley finished 3-for-4 with three RBI as the Phillies got their fifth straight victory. Felize hammered a three-run shot, and Ibanez had a solo homer and two runs. Shane Victorino stretched his hitting streak to nine games with two hits.

Cole Hamels, the reigning World Series and NLCS MVP, hurt his ankle in the fifth inning while fielding a bunt. He left with a 5-0 lead, having yielded four hits and two walks. Chad Durbin (1-0) pitched 3 2/3 innings in relief of Hamels, allowing just one hit.

Adam Dunn homered for Washington's lone run. John Lannan (0-3) gave up six runs on nine hits in five innings.
