
MILWAUKEE, April 28 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder had a two-run single in a five-run eighth inning Monday to help the Milwaukee Brewers rally for a 10-5 win over Pittsburgh.
Rickie Weeks hit a three-run homer and had four RBI for the Brewers, who won for the fifth time in their last six games. Mike Cameron and Ryan Braun each hit a solo homer for Milwaukee, which has beaten the Pirates 13 straight times in the longest active streak in the majors.
Todd Coffey (1-0) earned the win by recording the final out of the eighth inning.
Trevor Hoffman, baseball's all-time saves leader with 554, pitched a scoreless ninth in his first appearance with Milwaukee but was not credited with a save.
Tyler Yates (0-1) took the loss after giving up three runs in a third of an inning.
