Playing in her native country at the Tres Marias Golf Club, Ochoa -- the world's No. 1 female player -- is making a bid for her second tournament title in six starts. She played a bogey-free round that included four 3's and two 2's.

Tied for second with Wie was Na Yeon Choi. Wie, playing her inaugural season as an official member of the LPGA Tour, is seeking her first pro triumph.

Sarah Lee, Sandra Gal, Anna Nordqvist and Eunjung Yi shared fourth place at 67.
