AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 10 (UPI) -- Will Bynum highlighted a big game by the Detroit bench Friday and the Pistons claimed the final available NBA playoff berth with a 100-93 win over New Jersey.

Bynum scored 20 of the 46 points produced by Detroit's bench players, helping the Pistons build a 13-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

Detroit and Chicago are tied for the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference -- one game behind sixth-place Philadelphia and two behind fifth-place Miami with three games left in the regular season.

This will be the eighth straight year for Detroit to appear in the playoffs.

Rasheed Wallace added 15 points for the Pistons, who shot 53 percent from the field.

Ryan Anderson led New Jersey with 20 points.
