CHICAGO, March 1 (UPI) -- Chicago's Jonathan Toews scored with 47 seconds left in the first period Sunday and the Blackhawks went on to beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-2.
Dustin Byfuglien, Duncan Keith and Dave Bolland posted the other goals for Chicago, which ended a three-game losing streak.
Jack Johnson and Anze Kopitar scored for the Kings, who have lost eight of their last 10 games.
Antti Niemi, starting in his first NHL game, blocked 22 shots for Chicago. Los Angeles' Jonathan Quick had 34 saves.
