NBA: Phoenix 115, Golden State 105

PHOENIX, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Grant Hill produced a season-high 27 points Friday night, helping the Phoenix Suns fight off Golden State 115-105.

The Suns salvaged the second half of a home-and-home series with the Warriors and ran their home winning streak against Golden State to seven games. The Warriors have won just three times in their last 26 trips to Phoenix.

Phoenix went on a 15-5 run during the first half of the fourth quarter to build an 11-point lead and held on down the stretch. A floating jump shot by Steve Nash with 1:33 to play -- a field goal that came after Golden State had been called for its second charging foul in the span of 32 seconds -- gave Phoenix an eight-point cushion.

Hill made 12-of-17 shots from the field and eclipsed his previous season high of 25 points, produced Jan. 15 at Denver. Jason Richardson added 25 while Nash and Amare Stoudemire had 19 each.

Golden State, which has won only five road games all season, got 25 points from Corey Maggette and 24 from Stephen Jackson.
