NBA: Golden State 124, Phoenix 112

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson led a hot shooting performance Wednesday and Golden State benefited from a quick start to defeat Phoenix 124-112.

The Warriors opened a 22-point lead in the second quarter and were still in front by 21 heading into the fourth.

Jackson scored 30 points, Jamal Crawford had 27 and Kelenna Azubuike 25. Those three teamed to make 31-of-52 shots from the field and the Warriors hit 52 percent of their shots overall.

Golden State had lost its previous two games.

Phoenix, which was coming off its most one-sided home victory in history, was led by 24 points from Jason Richardson. The Suns defeated Sacramento at home Monday 129-81.

The home team has won in this series for eight straight games. The teams will meet again Friday in Phoenix.
