PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Brandon Roy finished with 22 points, seven assists and 10 steals Saturday night to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 100-87 victory over Washington.
Greg Oden had 18 points and 14 rebounds, while LaMarcus Aldridge scored 14 points and Sergio Rodriguez had 12 points and eight assists for the Trail Blazers, who won for the third time in six games.
Caron Butler led the Wizards with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Antawn Jamison scored 19 points for the Wizards, who lost for the ninth time in their last 11 games.
Portland jumped out to an early lead and tore off a 12-0 run in the second period on the way to a 39-31 halftime lead. The Blazers went up 66-44 late in the third period and the Wizards never challenged after that.
