DETROIT, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Ty Conklin blocked 21 shots Saturday to pace the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-1 victory over Buffalo.
Mikael Samuelsson, Jim Hudler and Marian Hossa scored for the Red Wings, who have a season-high six-game winning streak.

Derek Roy had the only goal for Buffalo. Ryan Miller gave up three goals on 48 shots for the Sabres, who had a four-game winning streak stopped.
Hudler set up the game-winning goal when he passed to Samuelsson, who sent a backhander past Miller. Hossa scored just 59 seconds later.
