NHL: New Jersey 4, St. Louis 3

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Zach Parise scored twice and Jay Pandolfo made the winning goal late in the third period Tuesday, powering New Jersey over St. Louis 4-3.

Brian Rolston added the other goal for the Devils, who have won four of their last six games.

New Jersey goalie Scott Clemmensen stopped 28 shots.

Brad Boyes and David Backes scored for the Blues, losers in four of five contests.

Manny Legace allowed four goals on 26 shots for the loss.
