ATLANTA, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson had 25 points, seven assists and five rebounds Monday to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 109-91 win over Denver.
Mike Bibby had 20 points and nine assists and Al Horford 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks, who have won five in a row and eight of nine, with the lone loss during that stretch coming against Eastern Conference-leading Boston.

Kenyon Martin had 19 points to pace Denver, which had a two-game win streak snapped. Carmelo Anthony added 16 points for the Nuggets.
