PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy combined for 41 points Tuesday, helping Portland knock off Denver 101-92.

Aldridge finished with 22 points and eight rebounds. Roy had 19 points and six assists as the Trail Blazers avenged a 97-89 loss to the Nuggets on Monday. The two teams are now tied for the Northwest Division lead.

The Nuggets again had to play without Carmelo Anthony, who has an elbow contusion.

Joel Przybilla helped the Blazers win their third game out of their past four with 19 rebounds to go with 10 points. Steve Blake added 17 points and Rudy Fernandez had 12.

Linas Kleiza scored 20 for the Nuggets, who lost for the fourth time in five games. Nene added 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Chauncey Billups also scored 17.

Kenyon Martin got Denver within 86-85 with two free throws with just over 4 minutes remaining, but Aldridge, Roy and Przybilla each made two free throws around a Billups jumper to keep control.
