Tommie Harris' wife dies

DETROIT, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Marian Hossa broke a tie with his second goal of the game just 2 minutes from the final horn Friday and Detroit went on to down Columbus 5-3.
Pavel Datsyuk won a face-off in the left circle and the puck went right to Hossa, who swept the puck past Pascal Leclaire. Kris Draper added an empty-net goal with 7 seconds to play.
Henrik Zetterberg and Jiri Hudler also scored for the Red Wings, who ended a two-game skid. Chris Osgood needed to make only 13 saves, but he gave up a goal on a slap shot by Fedor Tyutin from center ice that tied the game early in the third period.
It was the 372nd win for Osgood, which ties him with Andy Moog for 13th on the NHL career victory list.
