NHL: Boston 7, Buffalo 4

BOSTON, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Zendo Chara and Chuck Kobasew scored twice each Wednesday, providing key goals in Boston's come-from-behind 7-4 win over Buffalo.

It was the Bruins' sixth straight home ice victory and the 10th win in their last 12 games.

They trailed 4-3 after the first period, but held Buffalo scoreless in both the second and third periods.

In the pivotal third, Chara scored twice and Kobasew once.

Boston's Marc Savard had one goal and three assists. David Krejci had a goal and two assists. Matt Hunwick and Patrice Bergeron both had two assists.

Bruins netminder Manny Fernandez was credited with 25 saves on 29 shots.

Buffalo got two goals from Thomas Vanek, and one each from Derek Roy and Jason Pominville.

Buffalo starting goalie Ryan Miller was beaten seven times on 20 shots before being replaced in the third period.

Backup Patrick Lalime stopped the three shots he faced in the Sabres' third loss in a row.
