NHL: Chicago 6, Colorado 2

CHICAGO, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Patrick Sharp and Andrew Ladd each scored two goals Monday, lifting the Chicago Blackhawks to a 6-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.

Troy Brouwer and Cameron Barker had the other goals, and Sharp and Ladd both added assists to post three-point games for Chicago, which earned its third straight victory.

Chicago goalie Nikolai Khabibulin made 24 saves.

Milan Hejduk and Ben Guite each had a goal for the Avalanche, who have lost four straight. Peter Budaj stopped 31-of-37 shots.
