COL FB: Texas 28, Oklahoma State 24

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Colt McCoy passed for 391 yards and two touchdowns Saturday, powering the top-ranked Texas Longhorns to a 28-24 win over eighth-ranked Oklahoma State.

McCoy completed 38-of-45 passes with one interception and also ran for a touchdown, as Texas (8-0, 4-0 Big 12) defeated its third straight ranked opponent. The Longhorns beat then-No. 1 Oklahoma two weeks ago and topped then-No. 11 Missouri last week.

Texas wide receiver Jordan Shipley caught a single-game school record 15 passes for a career-high 168 yards and a touchdown.

Kendall Hunter rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries for the Cowboys (7-1, 3-1), who have lost 11 straight meetings to the Longhorns.

Zac Robinson completed 17-of-26 passes for 199 yards and one touchdown for Oklahoma State.
