NHL: Calgary 5, Nashville 3

NASHVILLE, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Jarome Iginla scored the first and last of five unanswered goals Thursday that brought the Calgary Flames back from a three-goal deficit to beat Nashville 5-3.

Calgary has won back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Nashville dominated the contest until Iginla scored with 5:56 remaining in the second period to cut the Flames' deficit to 3-1.

Rene Bourque and David Moss then scored in the first eight minutes of the third period to tie it and Michael Cammalleri put the Flames in front by producing a power-play goal with 7:29 to play. Iginla added an empty-netter with three seconds remaining, running his season total to four.

Miikka Kiprusoff made 35 saves, but gave up three goals in a span of less than three minutes of the second period.

Nashville outshot Calgary in a 14-4 scoreless first period. The Predators could manage only one goal on nine power-play chances.
