PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Shane Victorino's two hits and four RBI Friday led the Philadelphia Phillies to an 8-5 win over the LA Dodgers and a 2-0 lead in the NL Championship Series.

The center fielder hit a two-run single in the bottom of the second and his two-run triple gave Philadelphia an 8-2 lead in the third.

Catcher Carlos Ruiz knocked in a run and Greg Dobbs had two hits. Starting and winning pitcher Brett Myers had three hits and three RBI.

Myers (1-0) gave up five earned runs and six hits in five innings with four walks and six strikeouts.

Closer Brad Lidge earned his second save of the series.

Chad Billingsley (1-1) last just 2 1/3 innings, surrendering eight runs on eight hits with three walks and five strikeouts.

Manny Ramirez launched a three-run fourth-inning homer, while James Loney and Blake DeWitt had one RBI apiece for the Dodgers, who go home for Sunday's third game.

The starting pitchers will be the Phillies' 45-year-old southpaw Jamie Moyer and the Dodgers' Hiroki Kuroda.
