CINCINNATI, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Quarterback Drew Stanton passed for one touchdown and ran for another Sunday, helping the Detroit Lions beat Cincinnati 27-10 in an NFL pre-season game.
Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky ran for a score and Jon Kitna threw a touchdown pass.
Artose Pinner carried 13 times for 52 yards for Detroit (2-0).
Ryan Fitzpatrick passed for 111 yards and a score for the Bengals (0-2). Jerome Holt led Cincinnati receivers, catching four passes for 72 yards.
Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson started, but left the game after he injured his shoulder on Cincinnati's first drive and did not return. Lions' cornerback Brian Kelly hit Johnson as Johnson was going up for a pass, and Johnson came down hard on his left side.
Kelly intercepted Carson Palmer's pass on the play.
