MLB: Boston 6, Baltimore 3

BALTIMORE, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Jason Bay homered twice and drove in four runs Monday to power the Boston Red Sox to a 6-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Jon Lester (12-4) allowed one run on four hits in seven innings to earn his fifth win in his last six starts.

Jonathan Papelbon earned his 33rd save by working the final 1 1/3 innings.

David Ortiz doubled twice and drove in a run for the Red Sox.

Aubrey Huff had a home run and drove in all three runs for the Orioles.

Jeremy Guthrie (10-9) was charged with the loss after allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings.
