Park played the first 48 holes without making a bogey and closed on Saturday with three straight birdies to gain the first 54-hole lead for the first time in her second season on the women's tour.

"I think I'm more amazed at myself because I was playing mediocre throughout the whole round, then I told myself 'I still got three holes,'" Park said.

Juli Inkster, the 2003 winner, shot 3-under 69 Saturday and is alone in third at 11-under-par 205. Helen Alfredsson is fourth at 10-under 206. Shi Hyun Ahn (69) and Na Yeon Choi (69) tied for fifth place at 9-under-par 207.
