MLB: Texas 3, Los Angeles Angels 2

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 9 (UPI) -- Matt Harrison limited the Los Angeles Angels to two runs in his major league debut and Josh Hamilton drove in two runs in a 3-2 Texas Rangers win Tuesday.

Harrison (1-0), recalled from Class AAA Oklahoma, scattered five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out one.

Eddie Guardado threw the eighth and C.J. Wilson worked out of trouble in the ninth for his 22nd save as Texas won for the third time in four games.

Chris Davis homered for the Rangers and Ian Kinsler doubled in the sixth to extend his hitting streak to a career-high 20 games.

Joe Saunders (12-5) took the loss despite giving up three runs on six hits over eight innings.

Garret Anderson hit a two-run single for the Angels, who are 5-2 in their last seven games.
