PHILADELPHIA, July 6 (UPI) -- Fernando Tatis slammed a two-run home run in the 12th inning Sunday, boosting the New York Mets to a 4-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Heavy rain that hit during the eighth inning delayed the contest for three hours.

Carlos Beltran hit a homer and accounted for the other two RBI for the Mets, who have won three of their last four games.
Reliever Joe Smith (1-1) was the winning pitcher, tossing 2 1/3 scoreless innings.
Jason Werth slugged a two-run homer for the Phillies.
Loser Chad Durbin (2-2) gave up two runs in two innings of relief.
