Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
BIRMINGHAM, England, June 14 (UPI) -- Ukrainian Kateryna Bondarenko and Belgian Yanina Wickmayer will meet Sunday in the final of the DFC Classic at Birmingham, England.
Both were semifinals winners Saturday and advanced to their first finals.
Bondarenko posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory over New Zealander Marina Erakovic while Wickmayer defeated American Bethanie Mattek 7-5, 7-6 (7-2).
