OAKLAND, Calif., June 8 (UPI) -- Mark Ellis' 12th-inning grand slam home run gave the Oakland A's a 7-3 victory Sunday over the Los Angeles Angels, ending a seven-game Angels winning streak.

The slam, off Chris Bootcheck, was the third of Ellis' major league career.

Singles by Gregorio Petit and Rajai Davis and a walk to Travis Buck set up Ellis' game-winning blast off the left field foul pole.

Eric Chavez drove in two runs and Carlos Gonzalez had an RBI for the A's, who have won five of seven.

Vladimir Guerrero hit a two-run homer for the Angels.

Brad Ziegler (1-0) pitched 1 2/3 innings of relief to notch the win.

The loser, Bootcheck, is 0-1.
