MLB: Colorado 7, Milwaukee 2

DENVER, June 7 (UPI) -- Greg Reynolds allowed two earned runs and four hits in six innings Saturday to help the Colorado Rockies beat Milwaukee 7-2.

Reynolds benefited from a five-run outburst in the bottom of the first, including Brad Hawpe's first career grand slam homer.

Chris Iannetta had two hits, one a solo homer in the first, and two RBI. Ian Stewart hit a solo homer in the fifth, while Hawpe was among three players with two hits for the Rockies, who have won four in a row.

Reynolds improved to 1-3 this season by getting 10 ground ball outs and throwing 46 of his 73 pitches for strikes.

Milwaukee got one RBI apiece from Jason Kendall and Russell Branyan. Corey Hart had two of the five hits for the Brewers, who have lost two in a row following a six-game winning streak.

Losing pitcher Dave Bush (2-6) surrendered five earned runs and five hits in four innings.
